Hey Sloth Lovers. We’ve haven’t done a follow up post before but now we have!
Frostie suffered from a condition called Joint navel ill, a disease that is seen in very young calves and kid goats and results from an infection entering the body via the umbilical cord soon after birth.
For poor Frostie, this mean that he lost the use of his back legs. This didn’t stop the carers at Edgar’s though. They fashioned a trolly for Frostie and over time he managed to make his way around the grounds of the Sanctuary using just his front legs.
The thing is. Frostie wasn’t any old goat. Frost had heart.
As each day rolled on and he rolled along with it, it wasn’t long before he grew stronger. Being able to stand alone without his cart for short periods of time.
Such an amazing little goat and testament to the carers at Edgars Animal sanctuary who didn’t give up on this little guy!
Here’s a video of this beautiful little goat doing what goats do best!
I don’t know about you guys but this made me almost shed a tear! If you like this little guy as much as I do, share his story with your friends using one of the buttons below.
