Most leopards have dark spots called “rosettes” that cover the entirety of their fur creating a beautiful pattern. These spots help the leopards to be camouflaged with many different environments.

Rosettes show up much better on lightly colored leopards like the ones above, as opposed to the darkly colored leopards that appear to be a black color throughout! This awesome photo was taken by @yashasnarayan 🐆
