Yeah this is completely false. This is a cute image, but the bottom lizard is not doing that for the benefit of the top lizard. Bottom lizard was trying to get some heat, too, and top lizard took advantage.
Most species of lizards aren’t even social. Male lizards tend to be quite mean to females, actually. They loooove to harass females, to the point of forcing them to mate. Male lizards just want sex lol.
