A great capture of an Osprey diving for her prey by joinus12345 – Check out the aerodynamics!
Ospreys are excellent hunters of fish. They usually hover over the water until a fish nears the surface and then dive feet first, grasping the fish with their talons.
They don’t hang around either – Ospreys can dive at 30 miles per hour (48 Kph) and have been clocked at 50 miles per hour (80 Kph) by the time they hit the water.
