Reindeer Use The Wind To Their Advantage

During The Cold Winters, Reindeer Will Often Congregate In Less-Sheltered Areas

During the cold winters, reindeer will often congregate in less-sheltered areas of the frozen tundra.

They do this because the wind blows large amounts of snow off of the ground making the lichen and vegetation much more accessible for consumption! This awesome photo was taken by @milla_rice in Finland! 🦌
