  1. Like the old saying , you never judge a book by its cover . I have a yellow lab that’s a rescue from an abusive home , and he has emotional scars from being beaten ,so when we are out for a walk I have to always be on the look out for people who rush up to pet him -a strangers hands suddenly in his face trigger his aggression , but most people equate labs as fun loving friendly dogs ( which most are ) . On the other hand my nephew has two pit bulls that people cross the street to avoid , but are the biggest babies I’ve ever encountered ,and I can’t imagine ether of them biting anyone .

  2. I always ask people if I can pet their dog! I knew this female pit bull, When she went to the vet they had to take down all pictures of dogs! she was very timid and sweet!

  3. Not gonna lie, if I saw her walking on the opposite side walk I would probably not look both ways to cross the street so I could pet her and hug her. She’s a beauty ?

  4. She’s beautiful… but maybe a little bit menacing, too? We have a black lab, I’ve encountered the “scary black dog“ reservations before. Ours was not allowed to appear in a leaflet about her search dog association because of it.

Edit: If you click on my profile, there’s a post that’s a pic of her… not too scary 🙂

  5. My old lab used to scare some people and he would just be waddling (hip problems) down the street with a stuffed toy in his mouth.

Beautiful pup, by the way. Do you know what breed she is?

  6. Oh she would and her tail would be going a mile a minute too. I stopped using my coffee table years ago because she would knock stuff off clear across the room with her tail when happy.
